Akal Takht Sahib, Punjab: Sri Akal Takht Sahib literally means The Seat (Throne) of the Timeless One or Seat (Throne) of God. It is one of the five seats of temporal physical religious authority of the Sikhs. Akal means The Timeless One – another term for God. The Akal Takht was begun by the sixth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Gobind as a symbol for political sovereignty of Sikhs. It stood as a symbol of political and military resistance against the tyranny and cruelity of the rulers the 17th and 18th century. The Jathedar of the Akal Takht along with the Jathedars of the other four holy Takhts are the temporary temporal religious authority of the Sikhs. The current Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib is Giani Gurbachan Singh.

January 9th, 2010 Jasvir Singh Amritsar, Punjab: So called preacher Ragi Darshan Singh is guilty of using derogatory words for character assassination of Sahib Guru Gobind Singh ji who is giver of amrit and sacrificed his entire family so that Sikhs could live. He has used such words as Guru Sahib going to a prostitute—-, prostitute shouting thief, thief—- Guru Ji fleeing leaving shoes behind—- etc. This is very insulting language for Guru Sahib and those who have love for guru sahib can’t even hear such words.

Amritsar, Punjab: Nearly ninety prominent Sikh institutions and Gurdwaras across North America and England requested Sri Akal Takht Sahib to take strict action against the heretic Ragi Darshan Singh on January 7th of 2010 for his continued blasphemy against Sri Dasam Bani, Nitnem, Amrit-Sanchar Banis, and the Sikh Ardaas.
Ex-Ragi Darshan Singh declared Guilty of Misconduct (Tankhayia)

Amritsar, Punjab: Highest spiritual and temporal seat of the Sikhs, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, today declared its former Jathedar Professor Darshan Singh as ‘Tankhaiya’ (guilty of religious misconduct). The Sikh clergy, after a marathon meeting, issued an edict awarding the religious punishment to Darshan Singh who previously had been warned several times by Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

December 3rd, 2009 Amandeep Kaur In a desperate attempt, Ragi Darshan and his followers are flagging down YOUTUBE videos related to Darshan Singh’s pronouncement regarding Dasam Granth & Ninem Bani. They are claiming false copyrights for these videos. Most of the videos are of JUS Punjabi show. It seems that Ragi Darshan and his defensive confused followers have been trying to cover up their lies. They simply do not want to face the truth.
