NDP MPP JAGMEET SINGH SPEAKS AT BRAMPTON UNITED AGAINST RACISM RALLY

Brampton, Canada: Today, NDP MPP Jagmeet Singh spoke about the importance of inclusion, multiculturalism and diversity at a Brampton United Against Racism Rally at City Hall (2 Wellington St. W)

“Racism has no place in our community,” said Singh. “We must stand united and together call for an end to hatred and violence against all people, regardless of faith, creed, colour or ethnicity. As a community we must respond with courage and love.”

The rally was attended by Jim McDowell of the Labour Council, Adaoma Patterson, a community organizer and active resident of Brampton, in addition to other elected officials.

The event was organized by the Brampton United Against Racism.
