Amritsar, Punjab: Though Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGPC-adhoc) chief Jagdish Singh Jhinda and his four associates did sewa on the first day of their tankha (religious punishment) at the Golden Temple, they hit back at the Sikh high priests saying they had been humiliated allegedly under a political conspiracy.

Amritsar, Punjab: Viewed as “temporary respite” to the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGPC-Adhoc) president Jagdish Singh Jhinda and his four associates, Akal Takht has deferred edict on them to October 1 with Jathedar Gurbachan Singh clarifying the edict would be based on thorough probe into the September 13 Kurukshetra gurdwara incident.

Amritsar, Punjab: Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGPC) leader Jagdish Singh Jhinda and his five associates-most of whom are also members of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC)- have been summoned at Akal Takht on September 19 by Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh and the high Sikh priests with direction to explain violation of the Sikh “Maryada” by them for “attack” on gurdwara in Kurukshetra .

Kurukshetra, Haryana: The high drama of takeover of the famous Chhewin Patshahi Gurdwara at Kurukshetra by Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (HSGPC) today ended in a whimper with the HSGPC (adhoc) meekly surrendering to the SGPC.
