Forlì remembers fallen Sikh soldiers of the war.

Italy: Despite the pouring rain, numerous citizens and members of the Sikh community from across the region attended the war memorial at Forli, Italy to commemorate the Sikh soldiers contribution and ultimate sacrifice during the World Wars.

The ceremony on Saturday was held in memory of the Sikh soldiers who died during the advance of the Allied Armed Forces to liberate Italy from German occupation.

Many Italian citizens and dignitaries attended the event with a particularly strobg presence of the Sikh community from across the Emilia Romagna region in particular the city of Novella.
