Ludhiana, Punjab: Drifting away from the league, writer Dr Kulwinder Kaur Minhas got her book released from children living in the slums. ‘Anmol Mankeyian Di Mala’ is her eleventh book and she thought of getting it released from kids which belong to the downtrodden society.
“The book is a compilation of good thoughts about life, death and true life extracted from Gurbani. While compiling the book I came across a thought by Guru Nanak Dev ji which says that God lives in every creature be it rich or poor. People belonging to downtrodden society may be poor but they are not poor at heart,” said Dr Minhas.
“My previous books were released by political and religious personalities but this time I wanted to be close to humanity. So, I got it released from the slum children. After interacting with the children in the slums, I came to know that some of them were very enthusiastic about their studies and a few got inspired from me and decided to become a writer,” Dr Kulwinder Kaur said.
“One can achieve success and higher goals in life by implementing these ideas. Every moment of my life is dedicated to literature and I believe in shaping my life by following what great people have to say,” Dr Kulwinder Kaur Minhas added.
