THE REMAINING TWO, BURAIL JAIL PRISONERS WILL NOT BE RELEASED TODAY

We have just been in touch with the families of Lakhwinder Singh and Shamsher Singh, who are still lodged in Burail Jail awaiting their parole release. The families were turned away from the prison gates because the authorities said they did not have the orders to release the two Singh’s, as they are still awaiting the return of the paperwork from the respective local police stations. As you can imagine, the two families were extremely upset and disappointed to have left the prison empty handed, without their loved ones, whose return they have been eagerly awaiting for some days now.

It is thought that, Shamsher Singh may be released tomorrow (Friday) followed by Lakhwinder Singh on Saturday. We will keep you posted with all the latest updates.
