Shaheedi Samagam by Jatha Shaheedan on 16th February 2014

Mahaan Shaheedi Samagam of Shaheed Bhai Hardev Singh Rocket Varpal , Shaheed Bhai Bakhtwar Singh Varpal and Shaheed Bhai Kulwant Singh Varpal was today held at Gurudwara Bhai Manj , Sultanwind, Sri Amritsar. These 3 Shaheed Singhs were real brothers, sons of Bhai Sadha Singh and Mata Surjeet Kaur and this family has given great sacrifice for Sikh Freedom Movement. Bhai Hardev Singh attained Shaheedi in 1991, Bhai Bakhtawar Singh in 1993 and Bhai Kulwant Singh in 2012.(Bhai Kulwant Singh Varpal was arrested along with Bhai Pal Singh France and other Singhs and did Sewa with Bhai Narain Singh Chaura).

Jatha Shaheedan UK Sewadars and SYFB(Amritsar) Sewadar Bhai Gurjinder Singh along with family of Shaheeds carried out the Samagam Sewa. After Bhog of Sri Akhand Paath Sahib, Diwan was held in Main hall of Gurudwara Sahib where Ragi Singhs did Kirtan of Amrit Gurbaani. Followed by Gurbaani Kirtan, Dhadhi Jatha of Bhai Satnam Singh LalooGhumman sang Bir-Ras vaara of Shaheed Singhs. Panthic personalities attended the samagam and paid their tributes to Shaheeds of Panth. Those who attended the samagam included Sarbjit Singh Ghuman (Dal Khalsa) , Baldev Singh Sirsa (Panch Pardhani), Baljit Singh Khalsa and Bibi Sandeep Kaur ( Vangaar Magazine and Bhai Dharam Singh Trust), Bibi Paramjeet Kaur Khalra from Khalra mission trust and others. Sewadar of SOPW (UK) which is looking after court cases of Bhai Pal Singh France and Bhai Narain Singh Chaura, Bhai Parminder Singh also reached the Samagam representing SOPW.

With Guru Sahib’s Kirpa , Samagam passed in Charhdi Kala ad memory of Shaheed Singhs was honoured.

Jatha Shaheedan wants to thank Sangat and Panthic Personalities who attended the Samagam. We do Ardas to Guru Sahib and Shaheed Singhs to bless us with more sewa so that we can keep the memory and sacrifice of our Mahaan Shaheeds alive through these Samagams and continue to work for their Mission of Freedom and Honour of Khalsa Panth.
