Pollution control in Buddha Nullah

Ludhiana, Punjab: The officials of the Municipal Corporation (MC), Punjab Pollution Control Board, and other departments visited the Buddha Nullah regarding the cleanliness of the area on Saturday.

It is worth mentioning that recently a committee was formed on the directions of chief minister Parkash Singh Badal regarding the issue of cleaning of rivers in state.

MC additional commissioners, Sumeet Jarangal and Kamlesh Bansal, along with other officials also visited the area.

The committee formed by the CM had earlier visited on May 9. The committee members will further prepare a report regarding cleaning of nullah.

Meanwhile, Bansal told that the work plan to clean the Buddha Nullah was going on and it would be completed by June 30. He added that around 60% of work had been completed.
