Ludhiana, Punjab: A book titled “Dashmesh Pita Mere Ang Sang” was released by the Unesco Club of Punjab today at the Punjabi Bhawan.
The book, penned by Dr Kulvinder Kaur Minhas, is about the learnings from the life of Guru Gobind Singh.
She said his life was like a book and the fact that he sacrificed right from the childhood and struggled without showing any fear or concern gave me the cause to fight against injustice. His life gives an inspiration to fight for the underprivileged and the weak, and this has given me the confidence to stand against cruelty.
Dr Minhas has been a teacher for many years and principal at Sargodha School. She has written many other books, including “Hanere Vich Chan Di Leek”, “Main Inj Nahi Karanga” and “Yadan De Naksh”. She has written her book of essays “Jinhi Chakhya Prem Ras”. She has written another book titled “Budhhi Te Akash”. Last year, she wrote a book “Karam Yogi Balwant Singh Seechewal”.
Even the courage of Sahibzadas and the Zafarnama Guru Gobind Singh wrote was about standing for the right and righteous.
