Sikh Group Launches Facebook Ad Against Modi – Urges Americans To Support White House Petition

Washington DC, USA: While the Obama administration and Indian Prime Minister office is preparing to forge a new era of Indo-US economic ties, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has initiated a social media campaign in support of its petition to cancel Modi’s invitation to the White House.

U.S. President Barack Obama has invited newly elected Indian Prime Minster Narendra Modi for a meeting at the White House on September 30. While comparing Narendra Modi to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a Facebook advertisement “STOP OBAMA – Sign Petition” has been launched and funded by the Sikhs for Justice. In a press release, Sikhs for Justice asked the Obama Administration to “not fund another Israel”. The ad has received a positive response on Facebook.

Before being elected as PM, Narendra Modi had failed to secure US visa because of his alleged involvement in Muslim massacres in Gujarat.
