Gunmen kill Sikh hakim, assistant in Pakistan

Pakistan: Two persons, including a hakim belonging to Sikh community, were killed in Shabqadar bazaar on Michini Road here on Thursday, official sources said. The sources said that unknown men alighted from a car outside the Unani Dawakhana, owned by hakim Paramjeet Singh, on the Michini Road in the Shabqadar bazaar and opened fire.

As a result, Paramjeet Singh died on the spot while his assistant Zahid sustained critical injuries and was taken to the Civil Hospital in Shabqadar. However, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
