Simranjit Mann protesting against Ahluwalia

Police lift SAD(A) president Simranjit Singh Mann in a bid to stop him from entering the campus of University at Fatehgarh Sahib.

Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann led a protest against the appointment of Dr Jasbir Singh Ahluwalia a vice-chancellor of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University at Fatehgarh Sahib on Tuesday. As per a schedule announced by Mann, five activists of his party assembled at Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, performed ardas and then held protest outside the university gates, where they ran into heavy police security.
