Sri Amritsar, Punjab: In an event organised by ‘Sikh Jago Lehar’ at Guru Nanak Bhavan Sri Amritsar, Sikh scholars, theologians, and representatives of various Panthic organisations gathered to mark the release of epic book on the history of Sri Dasam Granth by Dr. Harbhajan Singh, Punjabi University Patiala. The first copy of the book was presented to the Head Granthi of Takhat Sri Hazoor Sahib, Giani Pratap Singh.
The formation of a committee called ‘Sri Dasam Granth Prabodh Sabha’ was also announced at the occasion. The sabha which constitutes of Jathedars of Takhats, Granthis of Sri Darbar Sahib, Sikh scholars, historians, and representatives of various panthic organisations including Nihung Jathebandis, Sant Samaj and Damdami Taksal will work towards countering the wrong prachaar against Sri Dasam Granth which is being carried out by some quarters. An open challenge has been given to those who are engaged in negative propaganda against Sri Dasam Granth to face the committee within a month, given that they have the intellect to understand the intricacies of poetry including formation of Chhand.
On this occasion the head of the Sikh Jago Lehar Bhai Kashmir Singh and other dignitaries also honoured Bhai Gopal Singh.
Among those who spoke at the occasion included Giani Pratap Singh, head granthi of Takhat Sri Hazoor Sahib, Dr. Jodh Singh and Dr. Harpal Singh Pannu from Punjabi University Patiala, S. Jagdish Singh from Naad Pragas Sanstha, S. Anurag Singh from Ludhiana, Giani Sher Singh Ambala, Sant Hari Singh Randhawewale, Dr. Harbhajan Singh Dehradun, S. Kashmir Singh, head of Sikh Jago Lehar, Dr. Inderjeet Singh Gogoaani, Bibi Shobha Kaur, Delhi, Baba Maan Singh Marianwale, Giani Gurmeet Singh, Bhai Tardeep Singh, Prof Avtar Singh, S. Amarjit Singh Delhi, Sant Ram Singh Kherewalem Baba Sarabjot Singh Bedi, and Baba Avtar Singh Sursinghwale.

The speakers equivocally stated that Sri Dasam Granth contains the compositions of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, and some people are creating unnecessary controversies on it. Hence in order to counter the negative propaganda ‘Sri Dasam Granth Parbodh Sabha’ is constituted. Those who have been appointed to the committee include Baba Sewa Singh Rampurkherewale, Sant Giandev Singh, S. Amarjit Singh Khosa, Giani Mall Singh and Giani Jaswant Singh, (both Granthis Sri Darbar Sahib, Sri Amritsar), Giani Iqbal Singh, Jathedar Takhat Sri Patna Sahib, Giani Kulwant Singh, Jathedar Takhat Sri Hazoor Sahib, Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa, Chief Damdami Taksal, Baba Joginder Singh, Jathedar Buddha Dal, Baba Nihal Singh Harianwelan Wale, Baba Daya Singh Sursinghwale, Baba Sarabjot Singh Bedi, Sant Jodh Singh, Sant Baljinder Singh, Mahant Chamkaur Singh and Baba Maan Singh Marianwale.
Additionally another committee of Sikh Scholars has been made which will work towards doing positive prachar among sangat.
Last year Sri Akal Takhat too had declared Sri Dasam Granth as an inseparable part of Sikh panth and had branded its controversy unnecessary. In 2006 the Panj Singh Sahibaans had passed a Matta at Sri Akal Takhat calling those speaking against Sri Dasam Granth as ‘Shararti Ansar’ (mischievous miscreants).

Dear Sangat ji,
Considering the overall malicious propaganda of the Spokesman editor, Joginder Sawhney and the others, the progression of the trend looks like this:
1> Create a division of the sikhs by :
1.1> Dilution of the authority of Sri Akal Takht Sahib
1.2> Rejection of the Nitnem Bani’s and hence Khande-ki-Pahul
1.3> Create Shia-Sunni type division in Panth
1.4> Annihilate the possibility of revival of Gurmatta
1.5> Use media propaganda to create puppet scholars
1.6> Reject history so that more doubts can be created about the Guruship of the Guru Angad Dev ji and subsequent Guru Sahib.
1.7> Reduce sikhs to a kind of social group which would finally lack its political-lusture and hence becomes toothless to challange any injustice by ruling political classes.
Lets learn from this debate and prepare ourselves better to face these kind of challanges so that its the Guru Panth which ends up as the Winner in the end.
And the defination of the victory would be translated by our increase in the knowledge of the Bani of SGGS, Sri Dasam Granth, Vaaran Bhai Gurdaas and other important literature.

* I do not adore Ganesha in the beginning and also do not meditate on Krishna and Vishnu; I have only heard about them with my ears and I do not recognize them; my consciousness is absorbed at the feet of the Supreme Lord.434.

Ragi Darshan Singh is just a mouth piece. we must understand deep rooted conspiracy behind this.it all started when sikhs celebrated 300 years of the Fateh Diwas on 11th Nov.2006 at Dyalpura Bhai ka. Joginder singh Spokesman started malicious propaganda that the organisors want to install Dasam Granth as another Guru of the sikhs. some misguided sikhs started observing Black day on every 11th without going into facts.in his editorial Joginder singh spokesman on 15ih Dec.2009 written that Baani’s of Dasam Granth are handiwork of Nirmalas and Udasis in Amrit Sanchar and today i.e 25th Dec.2009 he has written in his editorial that ” due to historical reasons those people were converting to sikhism who were unable to read,write and understand philosphy but were ready to sacrifice so the sikhs could not understand the games of Nirmalas and Udasis”.he has one point agenda to get the sikhs start fighting like Shias and Sunnis,dgrade the role of the Akaal Takht so that it can not play effective role stopping this fight and other problems,dilute the distinct identity of Khlasa. that is why he is continuing his anti panthic propaganda. Ragi Drashan singh is just a tool and Sarna’a are just backing these anti panthic people for their own political agenda
This is how i sum it. Dasam Granth has been part of sikh psyche for 300 years. no granth if it is spurious can occupy such place anywhere.There was no dispute over dasam granth till Teja singh bhasaur appeared. he disowned ardas and also deleted bhagat bani froom SGGS ji.He was excommunicated.

1.It was a news on a Local Radio today 20th Dec that “Nalvi” the flag bearer for Haryana SGPC is holding Kirtan Darbar of Ragi Darshan Singh on 2nd January at Panipat, defying the verdict of Akal Takhat sahib .The Haryana Sikhs must give a befiting reply to such anti-panthic activities . It is well known now that HSGPC will be an anti-panth outfit and will not obey the SRM.
2.Ragi has perhaps politicised the issue of DG and lobbying among anti-panthic elements . He is now only a vocal pivot to do stage shows aganist DG and donig false prpaganda that some sikhs are trying to promote DG equivalent to SGGS as a Guru .No where in the world such activites are going on and all sikhs world over beleive in SGGS as their Guru.
3.Ragi is not have sufficient knowledge of language and cannot understand grammer on any language . The recent appearance of Jathedar Sahib of Akal Takhat on JusTV has very well cleared the air on the issue of Ragi’s role in Panthic sphere .
A lot of propaganda is being carried out against bani of tenth master by those who have not even read it.
Some say it is translation of Hindu puranas. That is outright a lie. Guru ji has interpreted hindu avtars per sikh philosophy.He has adapted these writings to sikh thought, changed characterstics of these avtars and brought them under Akal purakh.
In Hinduism These avtars are absolute power but in dasam Granth they are described as creation of akal purakh.
These people should read dasam granth before indulging in senseless propaganda at behest of anti sikh forces as if anybody should object to dasam Granth it should be enemies of sikhs as it brings their deities to ground and make them mortal

ਜੋ ਚਉਬੀਸ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਕਹਾਏ ॥
जो चउबीस अवतार कहाए ॥
Those who are called twenty-four incarnations;
ਤਿਨ ਭੀ ਤੁਮ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤਨਿਕ ਨ ਪਾਏ ॥
तिन भी तुम प्रभ तनिक न पाए ॥
O Lord ! they even could not realise thee in a small measure;
ਸਭ ਹੀ ਜਗ ਭਰਮੇ ਭਵ ਰਾਯੰ ॥
सभ ही जग भरमे भव रायं ॥
They became kings of the world and got deluded;
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਅੰਤ ਕਹਾਯੰ ॥੭॥
ता ते नाम बिअंत कहायं ॥७॥
Therefore they were called by innumerable names..

He needs to undertand that proof of ragi’s mischief is clear when we open this site. As soon you log on there is video tape that automatically comes on. In that akirtghan ragi is denouncing Nitnem and amrit sanchar banis.
Shame on darshan ragi a traitor of sikh panth. He is using such words for Guru ji. Shame on those who defend such a traitor going out of the way.

2) He became double minded if to have physical relation with her or not.If he had the offspring will be bharua

He was called on TV for one hour and asked to show where such bukwas is there in Dasam Granth. he failed.
Since he has failed and you are justifying him. Can you show us where such things are written in this charitra of Dasam Granth.

I think people are deaf, he said in that interview that it is in DG Charitopkhyan charitra 21. Read DG yourself you will come to know. Even Girnia Savinder Ex-Jathedar himself said that this charitra is of Guru Gobind Singh. Dr. Jodh Singh’s hindi translation clearly says that too, which even Prof. Darshan Singh quoted too.

The core question as far darshan singh Ragi is concerned is his blasphemous comments about tenth master.Dasam Granth is not issue.In order to avopid the real issue i.e. balsphemy of Drashan singh Ragi Sarna is spending money in media to divert attention of sikhs.Real issue is balsphemic comments of Ragi darshan tyhat are not found in DG.
It is time when those who do ninda of guru sahib’s bani are exposed.Darshan singh is one who has doen maximum Ninda of Guru sahib’s personality. He has passed very dirty remarks about Guru sahib saying that it is written in Dasam granth that Guru sahib went to a prostitute. When called to show it he failed to show anything.He cann’t show it as it is not there. THose who do ninda of Guru sahib are anti sikh characters.
This is the right answer to blasphemy of anti sikh agent Darshan ragi and his boss Sarna. They are enemies of sikhs and it has been proven now.
